Kenny Chesney is an American country music singer from Knoxville, Tennessee.  With a laid-back style that often trades flip flops for cowboy boots, Kenny Chesney has managed to create a sizable following with fans from across all genres of music. 

 

Kenny got his start in music while attending East Tennessee State University, when he was given a guitar as a gift. He learned how to play it and was soon performing with a college bluegrass band for tips at local bars and restaurants.

 

His rise to stardom was a bit rough at first. Chesney released his first album "In My Wildest Dreams" in 1994 with Capricorn Records, which decided to get rid of its country music division shortly after. He followed up with "All I Need to Know," released by BNA Records. This album saw the release of his first top ten hit singles "All I Need to Know" and "Fall in Love." 

 

From then on, Kenny Chesney rocketed up the charts and began to produce gold record after gold record.  He has had several hits such as "She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy" and "Don't Blink." In 2008 he won his fourth consecutive "ACM Entertainer of the Year" award and released his latest album "Just Who I Am: Poets and Pirates."

 

Kenny Chensey continues to be one of the biggest live acts around, selling out at almost every large venue he plays at.
